This is my annual trek to a live game. I'll be there, going hoarse, screaming at Morelli.
This game scares me. We absolutely MUST win it. Going into the the bye at 4-4-1 could be disastrous. Chicago plays Buffalo this week, which they should win, and the Lions at home while we're on the bye. They could easily be 6-3 by the time we get back. But if we can go in at 5-3-1, we play the Bears for first place coming out of the bye.
After that, it's Green Bay, at New England, and at Seattle. We really need to be 6-3-1 going into that gauntlet.
It starts tomorrow against the Kitties -- the only team that has won twice at US Bank Stadium.

Beebee signed, doubt Diggs plays. Hopefully we don’t need him tomorrow. I am excited to see how Theilen does as the main focus of the defense. I think he still does well.Bowhunting Viking wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 11:38 am Probably get the needle in the ribs and will be out there. Hope that's the case.

I am hoping this is the game where we start to see some consistency. We show flashes of our full capabilities and also flashes of being a train wreck. It’s time we get it together.

When I saw Beebe was signed to roster I figured that meant Diggs would be inactive or used very little. As said, hopefully we wont need Diggs , let him heal up with bye wk upon us, and really hope it's one of those "the new kid comes in and just lights it up for his big oppoutunity" Skol!Purple Domination wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:20 pmBeebee signed, doubt Diggs plays. I'm interested to see if Treadwell can step up. I keep hearing how he doesn't get chances because ofceho is in front of him, well now half of who is in front if him is out.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Interesting take by Paul Allen on Treadwell’s helmet throwing penalty last week. Earlier in the drive, we ran the flea flicker and tossed it to AT. Treadwell was wide open down the middle for what would have been an easy TD. PA’s opinion is that he threw his helmet in frustration for being missed on that play. It’s still no excuse, but makes more sense to me as I couldn’t fathom why’d he throw his helmet after he actually made a TD saving play.PurpleMustReign wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 10:21 am I'm interested to see if Treadwell can step up. Re: Lions pregame thread
Yeah I remember. Like I said, today he (or anyone else} can't use the "look who's in front of him" excuse. Thielen was wide open on that play and he was likely the first read. Every other QB would have thrown it to him without a second thought. Frankly a better throw and thielen would have been able to score a TD as well. Treadwell does get open but he's usually the third read. Today he shouldn't be.Purple Domination wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 12:04 pmInteresting take by Paul Allen on Treadwell’s helmet throwing penalty last week. Hope you had fun, Kapp! Always fun to be at that kind of game.
