If he even plays close to this level all season he will deserve it. It sure is nice to have a decent offense again. I know it's the saints but what the hey. Sun is shining on a dog's butt today.5thWave wrote: No. He'll command a king's ransom as a free agent after this year.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
Including now, HOF WR #80 Cris Carter

Wow, Barr's name was mentioned. I wish he was half as good as Kendricks.

Guys, this was an impressive performance.
I was hoping we could simply hang on for a close win. This was a dominating performance. These last couple of drives by NO against the prevent mean nothing.
Gotta bring it in a big way next week. The Steelers will be tough.

Not sure what you're talking about. He's made some solid plays tonight. We're in prevent right now so to judge him off of this doesn't say much. He's been in on a lot of tackles at the line and had a nice 3rd down stop on that swing passdead_poet wrote:Barr is invisible and I'm not thrilled with his body language, as stupid as that sounds.

Pittsburgh is a scary good team. Have to play mistake-free and pressure the old man in the pocket.

I'm okay with prevent in garbage time. No injuries.

Crap. I hate that. I really wanted us to keep Brees out of the end zone.

I think Waynes and Barr are the 2 most over-hyped players we have.

My god dude take a hike tonight. We just played a great game and you still find something to whine about. You also said this team was a mess, which was so accurate on your partPurpleKoolaid wrote:Wow, Barr's name was mentioned. I wish he was half as good as Kendricks.

Browns gave 'em fits yesterday, though. They'll be favored, but I wonder if we can't pull off a game like we did at Carolina last year.soflavike wrote:.

Well, Brees got a TD pass in garbage time.
Let's get Dalvin to 100 yards in garbage time.

My problem with Zimmer is he doesn't get the stars out of the game. Damn!

Re: Saints @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 1
I think we played well. Let's end it at that. You're judging Waynes and Barr off of a prevent defense and judged this team off of their preseason games. You also wanted Murray instead of cook who went for 127 tonight. I think you need to reconsider your judgements because it isn't helping your causePurpleKoolaid wrote:I think Waynes and Barr are the 2 most over-hyped players we have.
