This is just nonsense blather.
Always good to have more picks. You are like a basketball fan complaining about getting offensive rebounds. Each one is another shot.

if the roster limit was 100 this might make sense for more depth, ST, etc.
but we have what? 6 maybe 7 spots to fill? So yeah, let's stockpile NINE 3rd day picks!
Unless Ricky packages all of 6th and 7ths and maybe a 5th for something like a 3rd next year, this makes no sense

Wouldn't you have to include the entire staff as well? I mean it's not like Rick is the only one in the room.

Nonsense blather? Pretty harsh. I seriously don't think he has the confidence to draft guys beyond round 3. He constantly looks to make picks in the top 50, because it is easier to hit. After a certain threshold, he seems to kick in to a different philosophy: I don't know what I'm doing, so I'll just acquire more "shots"... as if every shot had the same probability of going in?

Lol Eisen gets so grumpy on day 3 it's hilarious. I hope he has another "punters are people too" rant.

I think Rick does a good job personally. Nobody is perfect
Think of how far we have come from our Frazier triangle of
Authority teams
Does anyone have a strong opinion based on knowledge of
the Michigan LB ?

Per Zimmer, Elfein will be working at center.

exactly. and it's not like they have 2 years to evaluate all of these picks before making a decision. the coaching staff has a few weeks and a couple of garbage preseason games to make a decision.
On the Jimmy Johnson draft value chart, how many 7th rounders NEXT YEAR equal a 1st round pick? 32? I swear Spielman would do it every time

Zim calls Johnson a "Swing guy." Will play both nose and 3-tech

Vikings currently have 72 players on the roster.
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

the LB is a ST pick. MAYBE he can play in goal line situations???
Check out his stats against the pass. He makes Chad Greenway look like Deion Sanders. And he played in the Big 10.

Interesting. I thought he would work G and maybe slide over for Berger down the road. Suppose Berger could play G.

He could turn these lower rounders into a couple of more 5ths.
