To me, it always feel like kids having a "my dad can beat up your dad" argument.

Good post. I have seen Jim's work and totally agree, he's super talented.
You guys are too kind. Thanks! I appreciate the kind words.

I'll take a look at the banner. I read the board in "subsilver2" mode because I find it much easier on my eyes so I never actually see the banner. Out of sight, out of mind...

I told you about the other Carolina board, but you had rather go to a board that has arguments. You are looking for something that insults you. If your boys are ready, they will do well. Since you go looking for smack, I'll give you some. Your qb will be on the ground so much, he will think it's home. My prediction...35-17 Panthers.

I read your post in a John Hedder voice...but not like he was in Napolean Dynamite, more like how he was in Blades of Glory

ncpantherfan wrote:There are other Carolina boards, but the only one that the real fans go to is the official Panther website just like this one is. We don't even have a smack forum. We respect other teams so don't judge us by these unofficial boards. Even on our board, when we lost the SB, there were junk talking people for two weeks.
Honestly this is how it is for every team, the Scout.com Viking board is a cesspool IMO. As a long time member/Mod I'm obviously a little biased but I think we have a strong and informed fan base.

Good game today, it's still early in the season and I expect these two teams could meet again.

Hahaha... You were right about a QB being on the ground a lot; you just had the wrong QB is all! :smilevike:

How'd that prediction work out for ya? Who's QB was that on the ground? Was that the MVP?

Cam, just as with 2014, wanted no part of Mike Zimmer's defense. He wilted under the pressure, same as he did in the Super Bowl. You all assumed because he hung 46 on the hapless 49ers that he would have his way with Minnesota. You yourself predicted 35. Guess you and your mates underestimated Zimmer's troops. Eight sacks, 3 picks, less than 100 yards of offense in the 2nd half. This was a beatdown. I wouldn't have predicted it, but it doesn't surprise me. This defense of the Vikings is that good. They can beat anybody.

Go ahead. I dare you.

I don't think we can really control who reads this message board and then quotes it in a barrage of uneducated tripe.
It's amusing stuff to read though.

Hard luck yesterday. It seems you had Matt Kalil at LT for you yesterday. We all know how that feels.

I miss him already.
On a more serious note: yesterdays game should probably serve as a wakeup call to Rivera and Co., if things hold up, there's a good chance we will see them again in the winter and be reunited with our friend.

Re: Message Board Layout.

I'm with Jim, I use the subsilver2 layout. It's a plain-jane look but it's really clean and easy on the eyes. The black layout was something that was created before I took over and is the one that is the "default" setting. There aren't really graphics at all on the one I use.

I've thought about revamping the layout or at least changing around the colors but I don't have a graphics background at all. I'd happily replace the banner though if Jim makes one.

I'd also be open to hearing color scheme ideas. I don't really like the black background at all personally.

Its energy efficient though. Not gonna lie, when I first started coming here, its something that influenced my choice.
