He IS their starter... or at least he will be once they feel he's picked up enough of the offense. I'm not sure if that will be this week or not.

Excited to read some news, analysis and opinions on Bradford.

Reads a bunch of posts about the Packers and Rodgers.

Scratches head.

Discussions naturally veer off course as someone picks up on a small point and runs with it, receives a reply, etc. It's especially prone to happen in long threads.

I've always looked at it this way: the best way for anybody to get an off topic thread back ON topic is to just make an interesting post about the original subject. Looking for news, analysis and opinions on Bradford? Find some and share it or post some for us to discuss! :)

You know another way? Move those posts out of this thread. Honestly, I'd shed no tears if the mods here were more heavy handed with moving off-topic posts in a thread to different threads/sections. I don't mind back and forth arguing that is on topic or even side joke posts, but constant packer discussion in every single vikings thread is annoying. Move those to the smack shack. YOU have the power to do it.(This post is off topic too, feel free to move/kill it when you move the other ones :) )

Next time you're bothered because a thread's veered off topic, just do something about it. You have a voice here too. Use it. You don't have to possess moderator privileges to ask someone to get back on topic.

Moving threads is easy. Moving posts is a little more of a pain. I don't have the time or inclination to micromanage every discussion. In all likelihood, that would just lead to a bunch of complaints anyway.

Edit: Just to be clear, the complaints have been noted and I will try to step in a little earlier when threads go far off-topic.

Bradford can throw the ball perfectly, but i have this image of Kalil or Smith
letting a 325 lb monster run by them untouched and using Bradford like
a turkey wishbone .... :?
