No chance for almost every NBA team
Kevin Durant is headed to Golden State Warriors. I figure 90 percent of the NBA teams have little or no shot
against teams leaded with Stars. Curry, Durant, Green, and Thompson are all top two percent players, in their roles.
I am guessing Golden State will average 15-20 point wins all next season.

Part of the reason why the NBA and MLB have lost it's luster IMO.

Its that way that before the season has begun you can predict the 2 teams that will make the finals if GSW dont make it to the finals I will be shocked.

I agree. There isn't really anything that can be done either... you can't really stop someone from signing with a team just because they would be too good.S197 wrote:Part of the reason why the NBA and MLB have lost it's luster IMO.

Re: No chance for almost every NBA team
it would be like the Vikings signing ten automatic HOF guys on one team,
every other team would be the lions 90's teams
every other team would be the lions 90's teams

The NBA has a salary cap, don't they? How can any team have that many stars without drafting them? I don't follow the NBA very closely so I'm not sure how their system compares to the NFL in that respect.
Re: No chance for almost every NBA team
The owners can go over it and pay a luxury tax to the other teams.. Cleveland was over and paid this season but also won a championship. Golden State lost two or three guys in FA should they should still be under the cap. Golden State drafted a lot of their core guys as well.

The salary cap went way up this year too. There are players getting stupid salaries this year, it is going to ruin the league.jackal wrote:The owners can go over it and pay a luxury tax to the other teams..
