Wow, did the Jaguars cut him or did he just have a short contract with them?

They released him in the last year of his deal. He was rarely healthy for them. Feel sorry for the guy.

Tom Pelissero
#Vikings gave Marcus Sherels $1.5 million fully guaranteed on 2-year, $4M deal. Can add $300K in incentives for punt return avg, Pro Bowl.
Is that a good deal? Haven't been paying attention to the financial part of the off season.

I don't think it's outlandish. He's probably worth that as one of the best/most consistent punt returners in the game.

He's also an excellent Special Teams player. He nd Theilen seem to make all of the ST tackles.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

He's good on the Vikes coverage teams too and he can play CB in a pinch. I think that increases his value. It looks like a fair deal for both sides.

Other than Biceps/spaz saftey signing I think the Vikings have really done well for not spending
huge bucks. Boone is a great OL .. I'm hoping having a rock solid LG next to him Kalil returns to
rookie form. The two linebackers seem like solid guys and Griffen can ballhawk when needed.

I am hoping we have Hunter play much more and Harrison Smith and Griffen get to feast on
bad throws from pressure.

I apologize for the rant but I hope people are still reading and I hope some of you can understand my passion on this subject. I don't think any Vikings fan should have to apologize for wanting the team to win. I'm certainly not going to do it.
Its certainly not what I've stated or meant to imply, but at this point the communication break down is so severe I don't see any point in even trying to clarify things.

Not enough flexibility. The big stiff always got up grimacing and injured.

I guess I don't understand why Andre Smith would WANT to come here. There is a chance he does not end up starting. If I were him, I would go to a team where I knew I would be the starter.

Maybe he's being brought in to compete to start at Guard too?

I thought the same thing. He's got to be aware that Load's going to come out hungry and try to reclaim his spot.

#Vikings tried their best today Andre Smith flight pushed back 2 hours But he will be off ground & gone from Minnesota in about a half hour
Free agent OT Andre Smith told @christomasson that he is down to choosing the #Vikings & the #Cardinals. Don't count out Zimmer connection.
