Re: Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 17
I know this is heresy but I don't even care if we lose next week. 11 wins and Division Champs! I'm 58 #### years old and have been a die hard since 1970 playoff loss to the Niners. Our O-line sucks, Teddy's inconsistent, but I'll watch and hope for the best. Bottom line is the team is trending in the right direction. Bigger expectations next year. This year is gravy and I'm sopping it up with biscuits. SKOL brothers!

Aw that's o.k., we can just throw in Chappy McFreshlegs, if not hire out Chris Collinsworth to nag our injured into shape.losperros wrote:
Maybe. The Vikings are still utterly dependent on their defense and Peterson to chalk up wins. Is that enough for the playoffs?
I can't help but wonder if AD's injury will deplete his abilities at all against Seattle, not to mention the other players that are hurting.
Gotta go with Dead Poet on this. With all the banged up players, the Vikings chances of beating Seattle are limited.

What's wrong with Clay Matthews?
The thing he done with Carson Palmer the week before. And this week sucker punching one of our linemen.
Classless acts....I no respect for him.

Sore loser? He got beat by Harris on that play. I saw nothing out of line on Harris' part, just an old-fashioned whooping. Clay is a bit pouty, just like Aaron, which makes beating them all the more fun.
BTW, did you see his pre-game interview w/ Michelle Tafoya? He was SUPER nervous to speak; he couldn't get out of that interview fast enough!

That was fun to watch!Texas Vike wrote:

I had a good chuckle when Floyd caught the ball on the sidelines too.

Me too. I loved his reaction/ mini-celebration/ taunting of Rodgers after that! Funny stuff.

The Floyd celebration might have been the catch of the year

I'd love for someone with better posting skills to find it and post it here... whenever I try to do videos, I fail.
Re: Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 17
I was concerned he might get flagged for that. WRs make some ridiculous tip toe catches on the sidelines so it was risky to snatch that ball when he was so close the field!DK Sweets wrote:The Floyd celebration might have been the catch of the year

He's almost on the field when he catches it...
Part of why I love this reaction is that previous to the game, Floyd said something very respectful about playing Rodger and how he's so good that you cannot underestimate a team he plays on.
To me, this reaction says, "yeah, I respect you, but I'm not afraid of taking it to you either!"
