Harris is starting!!! I was hoping for this. Shows how much confidence we have in Blanton. Also Newman is the other safety. I had a feeling Newman might move back there

Blanton was listed as questionable with a knee injury so it might just be that he's not healthy enough to start.

@VikingUpdate Mike Zimmer said Xavier Rhodes' wrist is fine. Not even getting x-rays. #Vikings

@JGonStrib Zimmer said he got a good injury report this morning & guys are improving. Sendejo likely closest to returning, others all in similar spot.

I agree. I don't think we'll see much of Blanton. Zimmer obviously doesn't have much confidence in him if he's starting Harris. Sendejo is the one I worry about. Gotta go with Harris over him

Count me in as one who believes Harris earned another shot at SS. Sendejo must have some kind of dirt of Zimmer - maybe he saw him a tutu doing ballet? Only reason I could think of turning the job back over to him.
