That is way off, Brady would have taken it if it was there and thrown it away if it wasn't, trying to force a TD would be absurd in that situation.

I like your style. Everybody else is saying Teddy held it too long, you're saying he should have waited until the receivers got deeper.

It's not how I would have gone but it's good. It's innovative.

Everyone wanna blame the playcall, wanna blame Teddy for holding on to ball to long. What about Kalil getting whoop by the DE. Cardinals DE knocked Kalil over like a rag doll. that was a poor effort by Kalil

Teddy holding onto the ball too, was almost as bad as Norv calling a horrible play, and Kalil missing a block on a 75 year old guy who has one move, a spin move. Why would they call this play when it takes so long to develop. So many things can happen, like a fumble or an intentional ground. AD and Wright also fumble. But the blame goes to the qb who played a good game. Lets not blame AD for yet another fumble.

The blame for this game, if there is blame to go around in the final seconds, is this coaching staff. The had no idea what to do with such little time and were in shock. I love Zim tossing Teddy under the buss though. Thats always classy, when your tackle, who supposedly knows the play, holds onto the ball as long as we can and maybe get 5-10 more yards that has to be caught, inbounds, and that takes longer to develop then watching Lawrence of Arabia.

Bad coaching and bad play calling. Think about that. Then think maybe theres a little blame there. Dont go right to the "teddy you held onto the ball too long, you should have felt Freeny blow by Kalil, and then run in for the TD, since everything was going out way last night. But you decided to lose the game for us. Cause no one else was making mistakes.

Weird, it worked for me like 10 mins ago.
To me, that play is on Zimmer. He knows how bad our OL is and how good AZ's defense is. You have to kick that ball... Like i said before if you don't trust your kicker to make a 48 yard fg, you need a different kicker like RIGHT NOW. Teddy and the team played their #### off yesterday against a team who could easily be in the Super Bowl, and that decision really sucks. I AM NOT BLAMING THE COACHES FOR THE LOSS but i am for that play.

This make twice in one season that we end a game like this. We were driving against Denver down by 3 and TB gets strip sacked. If we had a time out I'd say call a run play but with no time outs and a leaky OL you gotta kick the FG. Bad F**in play call by Norv......

I did like the fact that TB played pretty well and hit like 11 different receivers. Young guys on D had a decent showing.

Overall, they played a good game, just not good enough to win. They had their chances and didn't make the most of them but it was a nice bounce back effort on a short week. They played with pride and it was good to see.

Yeah.....take away just one of the fumbles and the outcome could be different. I just think it was a lousy play call at the end but was a good game. We are knocking on the door.

My final thoughts on that last play, which really isn't something I want to get into a heated debate about...

It was certainly a questionable choice of plays by Turner and people are right to say the WR routes developed too slowly, that Kalil blew his block, etc. but in the end, regardless of all of that, it's a play on which the QB must have good situational awareness. There are two mistakes he can't make in that situation: he can't turn the ball over and he can't afford to take a sack. I'm talking about very simple, very basic game concepts here.

In that scenario, pressure is almost inevitably coming from the defense because they understand the situation too.

The bottom line: Bridgewater did what he couldn't afford to do. He needed to make an immediate decision and get the ball out of his hands fast. When the route was developing too slowly, that was the time to throw the ball away, not hold onto it and wait. He had Peterson along the sidelines providing the perfect opportunity to dump the ball off or throw it away by tossing it over Peterson's head and out of bounds without fear of a penalty for intentional grounding.

The loss was on the team, not on Bridgewater alone. He contributed to it but so did his teammates. Hopefully, it was a valuable learning experience for all of them.
