Snap count reports give him a goose egg. Sounds like he's trending in the right direction, though. With Hunter coming on a bit I wonder how he'll fit into the rotation.
And after sleeping on it, I'm not 100% convinced Barr or Kendricks will play Sunday despite what Zimmer said. He's not John Fox or Bill Belichick with injury reports but I've started to be a bit skeptical. I think Zimmer looks for the competitive advantage there, even if I'm not sure there is one. Not practicing all week and yet playing on Sunday is typically reserved for seasoned veterans. Kendricks doesn't apply there and I'm not sure Barr does either. I hope I'm wrong.

That's the normal routine ... but the drop off is pretty steep after those two.
Best guess so far is that we get Barr Sunday, but not Kendricks.

@GoesslingESPN Eric Kendricks standing off to the side in one team drill; Greenway, Watts and Barr were the three LBs there. Floyd was in.
@Andrew_Krammer Eric Kendricks watched from sideline during that base return drill, which he's normally apart of #Vikings
@Andrew_Krammer Anthony Barr and Sharrif Floyd took their spots in #Vikings base punt return, a good sign for both to play Sunday. #Vikings
@christomasson Among #Vikings linebackers, Anthony Barr could be more ready to go Sunday than Eric Kendricks. Ribs are a very tricky deal.
@Andrew_Krammer Brandon Watts filled in for Kendricks during some special teams work on Friday. #Vikings
@Andrew_Krammer Could be a game-time decision on Kendricks. Zimmer optimistic this week about him playing.
@christomasson Jarius wright Cordarrelle Patterson look to not be practicing running on side Anthony Barr Eric Kendricks helmets on seem to be ready to go

@christomasson Anthony Barr said he ready to go and will play Sunday. Barr said he might wear some sort of cast as he once did in college
@christomasson Eric Kendricks won't talk about his injury status but will be on plane later today to Oakland
@christomasson Cordarrelle Patterson said his shoulder injury is no big deal said he is good
@christomasson Justin trattou will travel to Oakland and expects to be available Sunday whether he is active is another question has missed last 5 games

I'm suspect Teddy has been playing through severe pain for most of this season. Its written all over his face, even when he is doing pressers, let alone when he is picking himself up off the field.

I sense this too. I hated that formation when the put Peterson in motion. I'd give help to Clemmings on every passing play.
Did we escape without any noticeable injuries in this one? Other than Thielen's shoulder, that is. Floyd was largely invisible as he makes his way back from his injury, which I suppose is to be expected. I'll be interested to see how many plays he got. Hopefully we get Kendricks back this week.
