Teddy is mediocre and that is all he will ever be. Just like 95% of the QB's in the NFL.

I never got to watch the second of half of this game due to work. It sounds pretty ugly. I guess I will see it on GamePass later today.

All I know is that I cannot stomach watching this offensive line play football. Berger, Harris, and Fusco were all just atrocious at the point of attack in the first half. It sounds like all three of them struggled in the second half. Clemmings' attempt to cut Justin Houston was pathetic. Houston almost had a pick-six because of it.

A win is a win, but beating a team that was 1-4 in this fashion really doesn't instill much confidence in one. Then again, every win in the NFL is hard to come by. This team better get ready for Detroit.

This is on Norv, he ran the same type of run plays on every 1st and 2nd down. Which got stuffed nearly every time forcing 3rd and long. Go ahead and blame Teddy though, he cannot be brady or Rodgers and convert every 3rd and long! It is his second season for god sakes... but go ahead and blame Teddy and say he is bad. I will be sitting here laughing at you..

Compared to his first half it looked good, but he needs to put together complete games before I will be impressed. Playing great for a half will rarely get the job done.

Heck, I'd take just consistent - don't have to be great as long as we don't see a half of bad decisions, bad passes, and bad production.

Right now you have to take the good with the bad I think he is still young and green. Next year he needs to take the big step or I think Rick starts shopping. I am annoyed by the mistakes as anyone but what gives me some hope is the play in the 4th quarter yesterday where he scrambled within the pocket, maintained his protection around him, saw Diggs was covered, stepped up until the underneath coverage had to move up to block the threat of a scramble and then put it just over the under coverage right into the hands of triple covered Diggs. It was a third and long in a borderline must convert situation and Teddy played it as good as any QB in the league could have.

I'm with you on that. I don't want to imply that I've given up on Bridgewater. To the contrary, I think he shows a lot of promise and that is probably why I'm more frustrated with him right now because I think he can play the position. The guy can read the field, can get the ball down the field, and can make touch throws, but he's just not doing that consistently. Granted, he's getting hit a lot and he knows his offensive line isn't the greatest, so maybe that is playing into some of that inconsistency, but I want to see him test defenses down the field a bit more. The Vikings have the receivers to threaten the deeper part of the field. Wright, Wallace, and now Diggs all seem to be able to get deep. When a defense stacks the LOS like KC did yesterday, Bridgewater has to make them pay for it more consistently than he did.

Yeah Teddy hasn't looked great, but let's wait until the season is over before calling him mediocre. Play calling, offensive line play, and receiver play have all contributed to his slower-than-expected start. This is still a guy who is just 23 years old and has only started 17 games in the NFL.

Agreed. I have no issue saying that so far he's been mediocre, but I still think he has potential to become more than that.

And here is another fan giving every excuse possible and not blaming anything on Teddy. IT WAS A BAD THROW!! Every analyst is saying it as well. Just because it's his second season, we're suppose to give him a free pass and blame it on the OC?? Let me guess, the 4 INTs Teddy threw are all on Turner right? Because Turner is the one out there throwing the ball? Time to take the purple shades off pal. Teddy did some good things, but as I said before, that throw nearly cost us the game and if we were playing a good team, it probably would've cost us the game. He has to stop these mistakes and IMO, he's no different or possibly has taken a step back from last year.

He has a poor line last year due to injuries as well and had a worse receiving corps and played much better. He now has an equally bad offensive line, AP, and better receivers and is playing average to below average right now. Like I said, his current numbers are "Christian Ponder numbers" right now. If Ponder was our starting QB, everyone would be shredding him but since everyone thinks Teddy is our QB savior, he doesnt get blamed for anything from fans like you. If you aren't seeing this, then I seriously question your football knowledge.

I really like the guy. I truly do and I think he has all the upside in the world but he sure isn't showing it right now and it isn't hard to notice at all.

This is more like it and it's exactly how I feel. Some have jumped down my throat for saying that but its simply the truth.

The receiver play last year was worse IMO so I don't buy that as an excuse.

Didn't get to watch the game. Is Trae Waynes getting any playing time yet? If so how did he look?

He filled in When Newman came out briefly. He looked tentative and allowed a couple catches in front of him. He also let his guy get wide open on a 3rd down slant but fortunately the guy dropped it.

In regards to this game, I would say that no one has given a whole lot of mention to the absence of EG and the impact his presence would have made in this game. In my estimation, he and Harrison Smith are the two best defenders on this team by far. When EG was taken out of the equation, then QB pressure and sacks were/are greatly diminished. Very few games, that EG has played in thus far, has he not made several very impactful plays. Although Hunter did a good job, I have to believe that EG would have been a much stronger force and was missed quite a bit more than has been mentioned.

Griffen is a beast for sure, but I liked what I saw from Hunter. At least we know if Griffen can't go they have a solid backup option.
