Who get's the ball at the start of the Second Half? I didn't see the Kickoff.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

CP could be that guy. Has to step up fast though cause Diggs and Wallace are really going after it.soflavike wrote: I mean one of those really tall guys who can go get a jump ball like the one Manning threw to him a few minutes ago. We used to have this Randy Moss guy that was pretty good at it.

Who would have thought that Teddy would be out playing Peyton? And that the Denver backs would out play ours?

Denver gets it, they totally shut us down on our first possession.VikingFan50 wrote:Who get's the ball at the start of the Second Half? I didn't see the Kickoff.

I don't know the TOP but Denvers defense has been on the field a while, bodes well if we can keep it close and ground and pound a little.
Re: Vikings @ Broncos Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 4
I suspect you're right—but Burkhardt, the Fox play-by-play guy, claimed earlier that Denver had won the toss and had elected to kick. If that were true, the Vikings will receive in the second half as well.soflavike wrote: Broncos.
Almost certainly Denver actually deferred after winning the opening toss, which means they will indeed get the ball to begin the second half—but then it would appear that Burkhardt didn't know what he was talking about.

Cool stat for the UCLA duo, Kendricks first sack and Barrs first interception both on Peyton Manning.
Re: Vikings @ Broncos Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 4
Thomas is clearly Mannings safety blanket (7 of his 9 completions). Maybe we should have Rhodes shadow him with Smith over top until Denver proves they can move the ball consistently any other way.
Re: Vikings @ Broncos Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 4
Yeah—in the earlier game today in Buffalo, when OB3 made another spectacular one-handed catch for the Giants but landed out of bounds, the analyst said something about "Good thing there aren't any style points in the NFL, because then we'd have to give him that one." Wallace's TD was basically the opposite. Easy pass, no defensive pressure, zero style points... but, hell, he caught it.glenecho wrote:Have you ever seen anyone make a wide open catch look more difficult than Wallace?
