Adrian Peterson Reinstated

Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
I agree. I assume the reason the meeting happened early is to clear a trade, which also explains why it went from a soap opera to being silent so quickly.

I love that instead of speculating on his and his agent's motives and statements we get to speculate now on silence.

Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
What I find interesting is that we play the Dallas Cowboys in the 3rd preseason game, thats the one that the starters play most of the game. So IF Peterson some how gets traded to the Dallas Comboys that will make for one hell of a preseason storyline.

Well, it makes sense. Maybe that is why Homo restructured.dead_poet wrote:I love that instead of speculating on his and his agent's motives and statements we get to speculate now on silence.

The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
I am bored with the whole situation honestly.
Lollygagging never solved anything.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
Including now, HOF WR #80 Cris Carter
Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
Would he really be traded to an NFC team?
Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
I am hoping we dump him, to the Raiders, They can afford him and have plenty of space...
They have high picks in the rounds, and need a name like Peterson, to sell seats...

John Sullivan says Vikings players want Adrian Peterson back
“We want him back. There is no doubt the players want him back,” Sullivan said. “He missed an entire season. He more than paid his dues with this whole thing. I respect him as a man. I don’t want to talk too much about it just because I don’t want to put too much conjecture out there but I just hope it works itself out and he comes back and joins us. We have open arms here waiting for him. We want to rush for the 2,500 yards that he talked about a couple of years ago.”

Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
I feel the same way. Maybe that's why he hasn't came out and requested a trade because he's worried about going to a team like Oakland or Jacksonville and pretty much ruining his careerjackal wrote:I am hoping we dump him, to the Raiders, They can afford him and have plenty of space...

I like this idea. Lets get Oakland's first round pick and land Amari Cooperjackal wrote:I am hoping we dump him, to the Raiders, They can afford him and have plenty of space...

Actually I think Oakland is getting better they just need a good staff and to build on the same theme for more
than a season and a half.. Carr is pretty decent QB.. If they had A.P. they could still draft some line help
and pick up a few good vets maybe Jennings ?

Re: Adrian Peterson (not) Reinstated
It has been awfully quiet from the Peterson camp lately. Makes me think they have a deal in place and are just waiting until he gets reinstated or draft day.

It seems to me to be in everyone's best interest assuming the vikings can get a decent return, so I suspect the deal happens.Norv Zimmer wrote:It has been awfully quiet from the Peterson camp lately. maybe a 2nd and 4th this year and a 2nd and 3rd next year would be workable for both teams?
