He panics and doesn't see anything.

No, you brain dead twit, I was asking if you were loving the way the game is going, you seem to be enjoying yourself.Demi wrote:Loving what? That I'm right?
I'd much rather be wrong and Spielman be a genius. And we actually be a factor.

I wonder how many years the Vikings have/will take off of my life?
Re: Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 5
Tonight, Chris Ponder single-handedly took a few off mine. I truly do hope we cut him.Superman wrote:I wonder how many years the Vikings have/will take off of my life?

What a roller coaster ride of a season. Some games we look so inept we should be playing at the highschool level and other times we look like the best team we've had since 09

Pretty embarrassed by the defense in this game. Getting dominated by the Packers Oline is not good.Purple Domination wrote:What a roller coaster ride of a season. Some games we look so inept we should be playing at the highschool level and other times we look like the best team we've had since 09

Packers backups are beating our starters now...
Re: Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 5
It's a toxic combination of a short week, injuries, a lack of talent at key positions, and facing an expertly coached team with a sure HoFer at QB.

Oh, come on. 41-Donut in the 2000 NFC Title Game was easily worse than this.frosted21 wrote:What do you think? This is the worst I have ever felt about a Vikings game in my life. I just don't think it's funny, I guess. YMMV.
Teddy will be back for Detroit, nobody had this game as anything but a loss from the moment the schedule came out. End of a brutal 5-game opening stretch, short week to prepare, at Lambeau. There was never a chance. Heck, if Cassel had stayed healthy and started, there was no chance. Only Cassel getting hurt so Teddy could come in and play so well gave us a temporary glimmer of hope in the last 3 days and his ankle made it not worth the risk and ended that.
Team will rebound. They're at the 2-3 they needed to be after the 5-game tough stretch; having 10 days to sit on this stinker will have them very fired up for Detroit in front of the home crowd. Beat Detroit, they're 3-3 and after Buffalo, Tampa, and Washington should be 6-3. The defense was OK tonight; they got enough stops early and just got nothing from the offense or Ponder.
I'll be far more concerned if the OL plays poorly against Detroit. I'm worried that great performance Sunday was a fluke and due to Atlanta's front 7 being pretty bad (and Teddy sensational) rather than the Vikings' OL capable of being consistently good. It'll be interesting to see what happens if Teddy gets blocking as bad as we saw tonight (not that Ponder ever helps it look better). He may very well not stay healthy, which is the #1 imperative. Teddy cannot get hurt again this season.
