Re: Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 5
Man, what makes this harder to watch than it otherwise would be is knowing Bridgewater is there on the sidelines and yet we still have to watch Ponder run the offense, on national TV, against a team that I suspect we could beat with competent QB play.
Best play Ponder made all night was his tackle after he threw the 2nd pick.
Uuuuuuggggghhhhh

You shouldn't have to explain that. It is pretty clear and if someone doesn't understand it, that's their problem.me4get wrote:No tackling in basketball, more stress on ankles on turf or grass.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Does it not bother anyone that Bridgewater not even have an earpiece in? Really just looks like he doesn't care to see the play call or anything

I'm tempted to not watch the second half, but I'm going to anyways.

So? Ankle inuries aren't usually the variety you get from person to person contact.ThePiper wrote:
There is almost no contact.....

They dunk -- they're going vertically in many instances throughout a game -- mulitple times a night and land on solid flooring. Quarterbacks -- good ones -- are on their toes a lot and glide across the field. Basketball has much more impact on the leg joints. No doubt.
They say he can go Sunday. We just heard Nantz say he could play if it were tomorrow...That's weak. Not by Teddy. I'm sure he wanted to play.

He doesn't need to hear junior varsity play calling for their high school caliber QB.TheCoolerOne wrote:Does it not bother anyone that Bridgewater not even have an earpiece in? Really just looks like he doesn't care to see the play call or anything

Zimmer hasn't watched as much of Ponder as we have then...Superman wrote:I like Zimmer. "We've just got to settle down and see what kind of fighters we have on this team"

Man...I don't know what to tell you right now. More stress on your ankle by tapping the grass as opposed to jumping and running non-stop on a concrete floor covered by hardwood?me4get wrote: No tackling in basketball, more stress on ankles on turf or grass.
