unsportsmanlike conduct. he shoved a player in retaliation.Purple Reign wrote: Where in the rule book does it say it's a penalty to contact a player in the back on a dead ball? I think you are making up rules.

Some good news: Detroit beating the Pukers 19-7 with 6:54 to go.

Sorry if you think it was a personalized attack - I thought I was just expressing my point of view on the subject as well. OTOH - you stating that I like zebras and qbs in dresses is a personal attack.TeddyB wrote: I stopped arguing with you (hence why no quote). it's a forum where I'm allowed to voice opininon, if you could stop with your personalized attack, I'd appreciate it as it's against the rules. I get it, you like zebras and quarterbacks in dresses, enjoy.

So i can safely assume that had it been Teddy being put on his back in the same manner, you'd all be rallying against this call with the same fervor?soflavike wrote:![]()

Re: Vikings at Saints Game Thread - Week Three
If I'm Zimmer, I tell Spielman to get me weapons in the passing game that can get down the field. This inability to target the middle and deep parts of the field just kills this offense. Bridgewater should be able to get it down the field, but he needs the targets, and right now Patterson is the only guy who can threaten that part of the field.

I wouldn't say anything if Bridgewater landed on his back. Head, sure. Back, no.liquid_mojo wrote: So i can safely assume that had it been Teddy being put on his back in the same manner, you'd all be rallying against this call with the same fervor?

No - show me a quote from the rule book where it says this. Just coming into contact with a player is not a penalty. Contact has to be something like a head butt or a punch.frosted21 wrote: You're kidding, right?

I didn't see anything personal about your post either and found his last sentence ironic at best.Purple Reign wrote: Sorry if you think it was a personalized attack - I thought I was just expressing my point of view on the subject as well. Re: Vikings at Saints Game Thread - Week Three
Yup - this year's version of the defense will finish between 15-20th ranked this year. Not nearly good enough to make up for an offense that is likely to be in the bottom 3. Arg.
