That's what his teammates used to ask when he would choose to take a play off.

BADA-BING! Just kidding...

Several don't have their picks in yet but ... get ready ... sit down if you're standing up ... Mike Ditka is picking the Vikings.

Cris Carter had the Rams last week; he's taking the Vikings this week.

If I had to pick one guy to hang my hat on from this group it would be Jaworski (after all he watches 732 hours of tape each week). He is (predictably) going with the Pats. I think most of those east coast sports media guys all have very serious man crushes on Brady.

Beware of the consensus though. Last week the Bears had the highest consensus at 99% and of course the Bills won.
On Mike and Mike, CC also picked the Vikings to make the playoffs as his NFL mulligan.

I'm gonna say that the vikings D this year is what will stand out this year. I feel we will get 5 sacks on the pats and one of them will knock him out of the game. I'm gonna be bold and say vikes roll in another sleeper. AD will rush for 164 yards and have 2 TDs. C-pat will have 110 yards rec and 1 td with Kyle rud, get 6 catches out dueling gronk with 1 td. Cassel will look decent and throw for 235 and have 3 TDs and 1 int. vikes win big 31-13

As much as I want to say that we'll blow out the Patriots, I find myself being a little more realisitic when it comes to playing a Team like this.

Vikings 31 vs Patriots 24

In the end I think our Defense will show up and keep them out of the Endzone and from winning. Cassel will have a sub-par day and maybe have 2 TD's, while Adrian will have 1 TD and around 170 yds. Patterson or Rudolph will have the other TD and we cap it off with a FG to keep them from being able to tie it up near the end of the game.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

The only reason I am leaning Vikings in this game, is the recent history Zimmer has against Belechick. Last year the Bengals held Brady and the Pats to 6 points in a 13-6 Bengal win. Brady was 18-38 for 197 yards 0 TD 1 INT. They reduced Brady to a check down Charlie. Granted the Bengals were a better team than the Vikings, but I like the track record.

I'm going Vikings 23-18

They had guys like Terrance Newman and Adam Jones playing CB. Chris Crocker played S and didn't even make out team. Michael Johnson is good, but I don't think he's better than Everson. Zimmer put them in a position to succeed and they played better than they have in their previous stints with other teams. I think Rhodes and Munnerlyn are probably better in terms of raw ability with which Zimmer can build his defense than their counterparts in Cincinnati. The one big weakness we have when compared to CIN in probably at MLB. Certainly Geno Atkins is a beast but it remains to be seen how good Joseph can be in this defense. early returns look promising.

If we give up 40 next week I'll regret getting so excited over our defense, but I really believe the combination of talent and scheme that we currently have can be extremely successful and lead to one of the great defensive turnarounds of all time.
You might have an argument there, but the tipping point might be continuity in the system. Leon Hall played 5 games last year, any idea if that was early in the season or late?

The "aura of negativity" gained for the team will be more important than the "1" player lost for the game. Let's hope the coaches can focus the players! AP is incredibly important, but not essential for a victory. This team still has potential, and the game has to still be played. Yes, Vikes can pull out a victory!
