From what I've read, Ponder has gotten next to no reps in 11-on-11 so far. That will change in the preseason games as the Vikings are running with just the 3 rather than 4 like in years past. It will be interesting to see how they split up the time but it's fair to say they should all see a good amount of reps compared to previous years when guys like Vandenberg would come in to eat up garbage time.

Maybe more interesting will be how many reps Cassel gets, and whether the Vikings value him enough as their starting QB to limit his exposure to injury during the preseason, as they would with an incumbent starter. I have a feeling that the new coaching staff isn't yet familiar with the team, so we could see the starters playing more this preseason than we have in past years, though. With some obvious exceptions - I don't expect to see Peterson or Jennings on the field much at all.
