From the looks of it we have pick #168 now and another new pick #225 (round 7) from the Panthers.

@VikingUpdate: The #Vikings dropped back 20 spots in the fifth round (to 168) and got a seventh-rounder (No. 225) in their trade with Carolina.

According to the "chart" the drop down should be worth about 7 or 8 points. We received around 2 points for the trade. :appl:

According to NFL.com draft tracker, it's their 10th pick in the 7th round.
A pick in next year draft maybe ?

I'm really hoping we take either Loston or Exum with that next pick.

The Vikings trade the No. 148 pick to the Panthers in exchange for picks No. 168 and No. 225.

So at least it wasn't the Panthers 7th round pick.... lol! Not a great value but whatever, like I said Spielman probably has a few guys he's eyeing and figured at least one of them will still be there.

Good at running alongside the WR without ever putting his hand up to knock the ball away?

Craig Loston out of LSU is still available too.

Yankey was an all-american at two positions, team captain... I still can't figure it out. Maybe some had him projected at tackle but he'll play guard here and I think really give Johnson a run for his money in camp.

Oh ####, Daniel McCullers is still on the board too! There could be some very good talent that will fall to us.
