@GoesslingESPN 13m
Spielman on trading up to 22: "We're always aggressive." Didn't say anything about Manziel specifically. Wouldn't expect him to.
@Andrew_Krammer 13m
Spielman: "I suspect there will be more movement" in the draft. #Vikings

Wow no 2nd round picks and only 1 in the 3rd. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow, they should probably stand pat.

That's just a Viking feeling, every time the Vikings step on the field I get the this is not going to work out for the Vikings.

Clearly values quality over quantity. Quality of players and quantity of picks to get those players.

I'm happy to man!!!! I was willing to take Teddy Bridgewater at #8 and to get him at #32 and only have to give up our 4th rounder was basically a dream come true.

Now as for tomorrow I think we have to address the secondary and guard with our two 3rd round picks.

Bridgewater reads the field better, has better mechanics, and is better under pressure. Carr has the bigger arm and the bigger frame, that's about it, IMO of course.

What??? Carr's completion % under duress was ~30%.....Teddy's was ~70%. That's literally from one end of the earth to the other. Not even comparable. You're really going to judge 1 workout without pads on if he is good or not??

we have 2 3rd round picks, unless the Teddy trade was reported wrong? They gave up a 4th pick, not a 3rd

Teddy Bridgewater is everything you want in a QB. I have no idea what Jacksonville and Cleveland were looking at, but Teddy is the best QB from this class.

Honestly, the thing that impresses me most about Bridgewater is his pocket presence. If the VIkings can keep him upright (and not running for his life like Ponder did for much of his career) and doesn't become skittish, he can make it. It's what was severely lacking from Ponder & Tarvaris and a big knock on Carr. Good football IQ. Hopefully he can bulk up. Would be seriously OK if he sat all season behind Cassel.
