It doesn't trouble me at all. They picked up a high 5th earlier. They moved up a round to get a QB with a lot of potential and they just drop a round later. I'm fine with that. If Bridgewater works out we'll never care about that price. :)

I like it. A few months ago, he was the consensus #1 QB, and then he had ONE bad day. I think he'll have a great opportunity to grow under Norv Turner.

Just wait. He will be a special player for us in a few years.

You and Me both. Why the heck is Mel so high on him.

I think we got our Franchise QB guys.

I like Carr a lot so that wouldn't have bothered me at all but I think this is a good pick. Time will tell but Bridgewater's smart, accurate and productive. Norv should be able to help him get better. :)

Yeah, we gave up a fourth. He wasn't making it until our 2nd.

Good move!!!

Hey we got a 5th to go from 8 to 9, and paid a 4th to go from 40 to 32. Seems reasonable to me.

Its funny, I think Barr was a reach.....but if 3 months ago someone posted we'd get Teddy and Barr, this place would have gone nuts!!

Gave the 108th pick to move up 8 spots. Meh. They needed a QB. They got one. Had to shut out Houston if they really wanted Bridgewater. Which they didn't, but they settled for what they could get.

Woot! This is why you you gotta watch the whole thing. Several months ago, during the season my friend was jokeing about the "suck for luck", I replied with "endure the slaughter for bridgewater" stoked about this pick.

We might not know if he can even get a first down for another 2 1/2 years.
