There was a time where Bridgewater and Manziel would never have slipped to 20+

Favre was quoted earlier on NFL network saying he thought Manziel was the best quarterback of the bunch.

Be interesting to see how we are graded after the draft is over .

He's a fantastic player, I've watched him a lot. But I think Munerlyn plays the same role Verrett will.

I find it very interesting that we were in the mix for Manziel. Tough to beat a team w/ so much ammunition.

Draft grades are the biggest joke ever. Only worth doing after 2-3 seasons.

I have to agree: Calling Mosley a one trick pony is very off base.
A one trick pony as in he's a typical linebacker. Mosely has no pass rush, Barr can do that and more.

Might want to watch that. Whether is "kills" the discussion or not. Zimmer knows what he is doing and how he is going to use him. For us to sit here and say it's a terrible pick because we don't THINK it's a fit when really, its a great fit. He wouldnt fit in your typical Tampa 2 that Frazier ran but this is a whole different ball game now.

Zimmer says in that clip that he has him penciled in at like 3 different spots right now. Sorry but Mosely does NOT have that kind of versatility. Nothing against Mosely but Barr is a better fit in this instance. Zimmer likes thumpers in the middle with athleticism on the outside....it's been said multiple times. It just bothers me when guys sit here and say its a "terrible pick and not a fit in this defense"....like honestly....how in any way does anyone know if its a fit or not?? Sorry but I'm not buying it. Especially with a defensive mind like Zimmer

@AlbertBreer As the attempt to deal up with the Eagles would suggest, Johnny Manziel was indeed the No. 1 quarterback on the Vikings' board.
