Here's a way to kill the time: If Manziel drops to 8 and we trade out to Dallas are you going to be livid or what? I would be extremely anxious about that scenario--fearing that he'd become an absolute star and we spend the next decade hearing about getting fleeced by Dallas once again. (I live in DFW and I hate the Cowboys).
He just has Vince Young written all over him, in my opinion.
Go Hawks!
I don't see anything similar to Vince Young and Bridgewater's game. Vince was quite a bit more athletic, where I see Bridgewaters strength his ability to read defenses and go through his progressions pretty quickly. I like Bridgewater, but there is a chance he could be a bust as well. I just think that from what I have seen, his strengths are some of the things that if you don't do well, its hard to teach. IE Ponder.

The two have very, very little in common. The comparison is absurd. Vince was a heck of a lot like Tebow--unreal athlete at college level, ran the ball amazingly well, just didn't throw the ball accurately enough from the pocket.

Agree wih all of your assement here. I'm not trying to comapre Bridgewater's game with Young's.
They are different.
I do thinnk that Bridgewater can have some success, under the right circumstane and coaches. I just don't think he will be a long term starter or the "Face" of a franchise.
I threw Vince Young out as an example because he nosedived after a coupe of seasons.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

Probably somewhere in the teens -- if they do it, they're effectively saying they're OK with somebody else grabbing Bortles. It'll require them to be flexible enough to go with whoever wants to move up. I did think it was interesting that Rick Spielman threw out the 16th pick in an off-handed comment the other day.

If the Vikes trade back, how far back do you see them going?
