The schedule?

The schedule?
Shouldn't the schedule for next season be revealed soon?
It feels like it's unnaturally late this year, but perhaps it's correlated to the delayed draft...
Has there been any buzz on the grapewine regarding a date when the schedule will be released?

http://nfl.si.com/2014/04/21/2014-nfl-s ... -thursday/According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, a source with knowledge of the situation now says that the schedule release is now targeted for either Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

Great, can't wait! Oh and thanks for the link!
Seems Florio is correct since there now are "trailers" for some of the matchups on NFL.com.

Re: The schedule?
That seems a bit early. Are we really deciding teams' fates by what happened in the first quarter of the season? "Ah, these teams sucked week 2 and 3, let's switch them out for these teams. They'll be more exciting." With that said, I shouldn't complain. Some of the primetime games the last couple of seasons suuuuucked. So, maybe this is better. I just feel bad for the fans who get a little extra excited about their team playing on primetime...and then to be told, "Nah, not anymore. You kinda suck." After all, that's likely to be much earlier than those fans decide to accept any suckage. lol. Fans: "We got this. We can turn this around. One game at a time." NFL: "NO! You SUCK!"dead_poet wrote: Adam Schefter on Twitter

Re: The schedule?
The 2014 NFL season will open on Thursday, September 4 with the Packers at the Seahawks.
The defending Super Bowl champs host Aaron Rodgers and the team they beat on the famous "Fail Mary" play from 2012. NBC's Sunday Night Football opener is equally as intriguing as Andrew Luck travels to Denver to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos. The opening Monday Night will be a doubleheader: Giants at Lions and Chargers at Cardinals. Other highlights include a Seahawks/Broncos Super Bowl rematch in Week 3 and Seahawks/49ers on Thanksgiving night.
