Good! Jimmy Graham knocked the goal posts crooked after one of his "dunks". It delayed the game and made me suffer through another long commercial break. At the time I remember thinking, "how is this not a penalty for delay of game?".

So let me get this straight, spiking the football on a non scoring play is a 5 yard penalty for delay of game, even though it doesn't really delay the game, but actually delaying the game by knocking the goal posts down is not a penalty for delay of game? NFL you crazy.

If I were playing in the league, and believe me, I'm just as shocked as everyone else that I haven't gotten the call yet, that would have been my first down celebration. I would've ran over and pulled the goal posts down. It wouldn't have been a penalty.

Hopefully they look at banning the Lambeau leap next. "Todays NFL" and they let guys jump into the stands? Gee, that isn't a little excessive celebration!

I can't wait until we see the first goal post free throw. Guy scores a TD, sets up about 15 feet from the goal post, then calmly swishes one through.

Or hook shots?
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

That'd be a nice "screw you" to the rule, but I thought the ball couldn't be used as a prop?

dunking the ball over the goalpost was always a silly looking celebration anyway, OK Jimmy Grahm we get it, you're tall. Not as dumb looking as the discount double check championship wrestling belt Aaron Rogers move

Had this originated anywere but Green Bay it would have been banned already IMO. But it's Green Bay and we now they are the darlings of the NFL so they will never ban this.

I'm actually ok with this because it's just a matter of time before one of those knuckleheads hurts themselves doing it. The lamebeau leap will come to an immediate end when discount double check tears an ACL jumping into the stands. Then we all get to laugh.
