Denver is making some really odd moves so far... Reminds me of Dan Snyders Redskins where they are paying a lot of money to older players and letting some good young talent go.

Seahawks re-signed QB Tarvaris Jackson.

The Redskins are reportedly "making a push" to trade for Darren Sproles. New Orleans seems to think they get can get a third- or fourth-rounder for Sproles.

He is going to be 31, coming off his least productive season, and was going to be released if no one offered anything in trade. Seems like New Orleans got what they could for a guy they didn't have any plans for, going forward.

All that said, I think it will be a nice move for Philly. He could do well in that offense and he can still be very dangerous in spurts. But the compensation just reflects the current nature of the NFL, IMO.
