Zimmer Press Conference TODAY!(11 AM CST)

Post by Crax »

Figured this could be it's own thread to let people know if they didn't already and discuss it specifically.

Should be getting underway soon. Should be able to watch it live at http://www.vikings.com/

Here's a direct link to the video if you want to watch some people standing around waiting for it to get start: http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/vide ... -at-11-AM/

Just said he plans on being heavily involved in planning the defense. Most likley similar to what he ran in Cincinnati.

Sounds like some major changes for next year

He was nervous when reading the prepared statement, but he seems very comfortable now. He is being very honest with his answers. I like it, it's not your usual 'vanilla' press conference.

Yeah, not sure why that's really needed during this press conference.

Love the comment about having a chip on his shoulder. Coaching with a chip on his shoulder should bring a HUGE difference in the team personality.
Also, he has already visualized and said so about hoisting the Lombardi trophy. My kind of guy.

I loved his attitude and he did a great job of answering questions. I have a feeling the players will respond well to him. Hopefully, Zimmer can assemble a strong staff, the Vikings can put together an upgraded roster and this team can get into real contention again soon!
