Agreed, but that shouldn't factor into whether it should be called or not. It's like a defensive holding penalty away from the play, they still call it.

I don't know if the block was illegal by rule or not. I only had one look at it. However, it was a stupid, completely unnecessary play by Berger. He opened the window for the call and there was no need for him to do that.

He was still in contact, so it wasn't a good call.

Radio update from greg Coleman: Peterson has been walking on the injured ankle. He's being x-rayed and his return is questionable. I doubt they'll put him back in even if the x-rays are negative.
