The 33rd team...the Zebras
I used to live for football season. I'd watch any NFL game that was televised and living in Vegas always had my money on somebody. I just don't feel it anymore. All these new rules are ruining this game. I know, I know, we have to protect the players, but the refs are throwing so many flags they ought to have an award for how many touchdowns and field goals they have a hand in. Two pass interference calls in a row last Sunday against the Chargers and the refs marched the ball all the way to the 1 yard line. They should have just given them the touchdown, they would have saved time. A big part of a players game these days is to beg for a flag, especially receivers and QB's. And a lot of time they get em! It's like the players are throwing the flags. The refs are way too involved and with more and more rule changes every season, it's only gonna get worse. I hate to say this, but I am very disappointed with the way the NFL is going. A good friend of mine called me last night and inspired me to write this post. All he said was football sucks, and I have to admit, I don't really disagree with him. It's too bad though, cause I used to love this game.

Yeah and some games are more ridiculous than others. The thing that annoys me most, as you've already pointed out, is how every receiver now wants a flag on every incomplete pass. They look at the official and do the flag throwing gesture on EVERY pass. They should make that a penalty lol.
And I almost don't know why they even have punts anymore, every punt return gets called back for holding or block in the back. Madness! I say if it's not flagrant or egregious, then don't call it. Especially penalties that happen away from the play. Come on, let em play.

All the NFL players have learned to watch and learn from the master, Tim Duncan. Championships can be one by being good, and by complaining to the refs. The receivers in the NFL have become embarrassments due to the constant crying. It has literally become "The Crying Game."

Just when I thought I'd seen it all, the refs do that .. UnrealMelanieMFunk wrote:These guys had some trickery for Washington tonight!
