We had 3 first rounders last draft. What good have they done us this year? HOW MANY YEARS DO WE HAVE TO TANK BEFORE SOME OF YOU WANT US TO WIN? This is a Vikings board. The idea of it is to talk about the VIkes, good or bad. Not how long you want us to lose. Its really getting old. Maybe ask a mod to make you own little forum when you can all pray together during games hoping we lose. And How Teddy alone is going to trun this team around, And how many years we need a top 3 picks to win. Like the management we have now would even know how to rebuild (again).

I have been on this board for 7 years and this is the first year I have wanted them to tank. And mainly because of the worst record start since 1961 and ZERO chance of making the playoffs. I do not criticize those who want the Vikes to win because I understand that viewpoint. Just like I understand the viewpoint of better odds in the draft with a season that is already lost. Bottom line everyone on this board wants what is best for our team. Just two different ways of looking at it.

first rounders rarely turn a team around, the one exception lately is luck. other than that, notice how the best/most consistent teams are always drafting later? thats because they are a solid organization all around. teddy will not turn this team around, nor will he be any good in the nfl. id rather us keep winning since there is no andrew luck in this draft

I just hate seeing anti Vikings talk on a Viking board. You not saying you don't like the management, coaches, players, owner, etc, you just want them to lose. Period. It personally makes me sick, but if you have some crystal ball showing who is going to be on the Vikings team next year, when you don't even know who they are going to pick, maybe your approach is better. But your money would be better spent going to a casino then coming on a Viking board wish them to lose. But to each their own. And I have been called a bad fan too, for criticizing everything from the players to the owners. But never for wanting my team to lose.

and we lost that game, close, 30-20 and Ponder is new and improved
Yeah because AD had 182 yards on 17 carries (10.7 avg) and 2 TD's. If you think 11-22, 63 yds, 0 TD, and an INT had anything to do with the close score then you are delusional. I expect the "new and improved" aka "still below average" Ponder to put up similar numbers vs this Seahawks defense. My only question, is will Frazier finally go to the backup if Ponder is sub 100 late, or won't it occur to him again?
Ohjay wrote:Has anyone mentioned that we've had a "long" time to prepare for this game?
We did real good after our bye and I expect the same stellar performance against a very good Seahawks team. It's going to be painful... :wallbang: :wallbang: :wallbang:
Haha that's a good point. Milquetoast doesn't do too well when he has extra days to prepare. Coincidentally we played Seattle after our Thursday night game last year too and lost 30-20. So with 10+ days to prepare, Milquetoast is 0-4 and gets outscored 138-47 (35-12 average).
