I can already see Demi's post about Beating the Skins again and losing the first draft pick..............

Considering we didn't have the first pick? We were in the third spot at the start of the game.PurpleKoolaid wrote:I can already see Demi's post about Beating the Skins again and losing the first draft pick..............
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

I love that two of the most maligned Vikings players (Ponder and Carlson) stepped up and played absolutely crucial roles in this win.
I'm amazed that the defense came up with the stops they did in the second half because they were awful in the first half. Kudos to Kevin Williams, in particular, for coming up big.
I'll say this for Leslie Frazier: his team is still playing hard. Hopefully they can build on this win.

Fun game to watch, as long as you didn't look when we were on Defense in the first half. Incredible game by Adrian! He is a man among boys. Excellent game by KWill, very good game by Kalil and the O-line, very solid game by special teams. Very good game by the Ponder (feels dirty to say) good game by that other tight end who's name I shall not mention. Fun stuff

Even if for only superstitious reasons, I want Cassel starting. In both of the games he has been quarterback at the end, the defense has had crucial goal line stops to preserve the lead and win.
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!

Has nothing whatsoever to do with Fraizer. Unless you mean his last TO.Mothman wrote:I love that two of the most maligned Vikings players (Ponder and Carlson) stepped up and played absolutely crucial roles in this win.

So, what if ponder doesn't play worse than this?
so far I have seen back to back games. with A) acceptable quarterback play B) improvement game to game. At this point. Going from when he got the job back. I see no real reason to take him out...

Re: Redskins @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 10
You play defense. If they throw an INC pass you can call the TO then. At least wait until they're lined up for the snap so that you only lose a couple of seconds. Lastly, if you doing your job as coach, you should already have the plays in mind and the strategy(ies) communicated to the defense prior to that point...Purplemania wrote: Haha, I guess that makes sense too. But what if they don't spike the ball?

Just hope it isn't a broken collarbone. It would make that contagious among NFC North QB's and we wouldn't want that now would we?

I say that Ponder and Cassel played a big part of this win. Ponder did good until he got hurt. Cassel, on the other hand made some KEY throws that I don't think Ponder would have made. Like that pass to Jerome Simpson in between the corner and the safety.

Bleacher Report update: Ponder's left shoulder was dislocated, not broken.
It's a great day to be great
