If he actually is going to be our starting QB, that wasn't a respectful way to ease him in.
Plus it may take even longer to get him into good form mentally after a nasty performance like that.
All I have to say to that is tough ****. Freeman's playing for his future on the Vikings, and he doesn't have the benefit of waiting to be eased into this system after everything went down in Tampa Bay. This is full tryout mode for the remainder of the season, and he's gonna have to show up or shut up if he ever hopes to receive not just a starting position, but a sizeable paycheck ever again. If he can't mentally "repair" himself after a bumpy start like this, then too bad - the Vikings won't wait around for him. Besides, this isn't a rookie we're talking about.

Guys, this organization is finally holding someone accountable for this mess.

They released CB Jacob Lacey.

Never mind he didn't play; clearly the fault was his. Heads are rolling in Winter Park!

Poor CB Shaun Prater was claimed off waivers from the Eagles to fill his spot. Don't screw up, Prater. One more loss and you're outta here too.

Accountability!

Well, now that they have all of this years losses out of the way they can go on the 10-0 run and end up 11-5. :D

I said that during the game..."Welcome to Minnesota! If you think your confidence is bad now, well you just wait..."

They are going 1-15. Bank on it! Look at the remaining schedule and tell me where they're going to get a win.

I'd love to see some kind of turnaround but it's just not happening.

And you know what? I don't really care about the Super Bowl. I just hope in my lifetime that the Vikings are good enough again that Demi will write something happy. And maybe change his avatar to something less grumpy.

What is "best case scenario" on a winning streak that doesn't have us lifting the Lombardi Trophy?
What happened last year? 10-6 and drop a Wild Card game by 2 or 3 touchdowns?

Draft 22nd instead of 5th?
Man, when you put it that way it IS hard to root for isn't it. It would take some miraculous turnaround for this team just to go 7-9. What good would that do? Just a lower draft pick. Sorry, but that is reality when the team is as bad as it is.

Well, I've given up, I've seen enough. But for some reason I will be in front of the TV every Sunday for some mental anguish that I know is headed my way. This season has turned into a complete joke.
But, there I will be, watching them.
I feel like the fan of the Cleveland Indians in the Major League movies played by Randy Quaid. Absolutely sure they will suck, but still going to the games.
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps.

Does this mean if Freeman starts again, we have to break into a chorus of 'Wild Thing'?
