Postive/Negatives post-game report Game 4

Post by justinkendle »

Positives:
Joe Webb gets a positive ,that 60 yard run from Peterson, Joe Webb destroys Troy Poloamou, I loved it!
Matt Cassel: Good Game you can tell he can make plays that Ponder could only dream of making
Jared Allen: 2.5 sacks nuff said
Greg Jennings and Jerome Simpson combined for 216 yards
Felton: AD missed you please dont get suspended again!
AD: great game
Greenway: Int and sack maybe fumble strip, solid performance overall
Griffen: Saved the day
Oline played better than last game maybe the Qb is the reason. I wasnt Screaming at Loadholt through the screen like I did last week.

Negative:
The Coaching staff: playing not to lose instead of playing to win, keep being agresive I like how the lbs are blitzing more
Josh Robinson: Getting picked on to much evoking Asher Allen memories grrr
Covering: Big Ben was thrashing the secondary not fun to watch maybe the vikings biggest problem for now.
tackling needs to improve

Positives:

-Offensive scoring.
-Ball was thrown down the field and passes were completed when they needed to be.
-AP looked good and he's happy and we're all happy that Felton is back. Huge component to the run game.
-O-line appeared to play better.
-Simpson continued is good play and we saw what made Jennings so great in GB.

Negatives:

-Defense is too reliant on the big play. Everything in between is crap.
-Offense still needs to get more players involved. Namely Jarius and Cordarelle.
-I want more Xavier. Forget nickel only packages. He makes some mistakes, but he's a rookie. I see a lot of good from him when he's in.

Well, they were. Vikings just couldn't pull it off in the end. If there luck turns around right now then maybe the pull it out if it's a close on.

I am not a henderson fan but for once he made some solid plays for us..

I still Mauti to get some snaps and a shot at starting eventually

It was nice to see Jennings have a really nice game

The Browns may very well be the class of the AFC North. Another big day for Hoyer/Cameron, and I'm not sure the Bengals ever made into the red zone the whole game. A dominant victory over the 1st place division rival.

feeling ya about Ponder though.

More of the Fault lies Musgrove and Frasier's wimpy/sissy playing not to lose crap Play calling with it's 3 and out ANYTIME we have a late lead that puts the defense in that position. Are these two so Stupid? How many times does this have to happen for a lightbulb to go off in one of their brains to realize this tactic FAILS :steamed: :wallbang:

Biggest positive for me was the 0 in the turnover department.
This was our lowest TOP this year, so not turning it over was huge.

Negative has to be the secondary and our total inability to sustain drives in the 4th qtr.

I think that maybe you would want the light bulb to go on not off

I would agree about the "no turnovers" thanks to Patterson knocking the ball loose from a sure int. and the alert play of Simpson on the fumble.
