I question our coaching. For coaches maybe look North

I have to question our coaching especially the ultra predictable offense. Maybe time to look North

I don't get this. Is there something I'm not getting, or are you talking about a CFL coach?
The difference between men is not lack of strength, not lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

One definition of insanity is doing the same thing
over and over again... then expecting different results!
Maybe it's just that simple!?! Then again I wouldn't
know what to do if my purple blood got used to winning a game
they should have won. COME ON VIKES, please no 0-3!

Overall decent game.. we just have to play and dominate on both sides of the field. Offense has to take better of the ball.. defense has to stop people. We are letting teams move up and down the field like crazy. We will figure it out. I figure we have 5 more games before I freak out.

We had more than one chance, but the Bears hired Trestman. ;-)

Not to mention they were giving up 2-3 play drives for TDs!! The Special Teams weren't helping either, the Bears were almost always in Vikings territory after a kickoff.

it just doesn't hurt anymore. 42 yrs of too many backbreaking losses have taken their toll. Not blitzing on the Bears final drive made Cutler look like Peyton Manning. At least I was home in comfort watching NFL Sunday Ticket. MOTHMAN watched another backbreaker soaked. Ever since they lost to the Saints a few years ago.. It just doesn't bother me anymore. I guess its like getting punched. After a while, you just go numb, shrug the shoulders and grab another beer. To make matters worse....My Giants laid a big egg as well.

It was hard to see them lose and I was definitely soaked but I didn't regret the experience for a second. That was a fantastically entertaining game to watch from the stands. It's a shame the Vikings couldn't get the win but I had a great time at Soldier field anyway and they clearly played hard. I have to add that, once again, I was really impressed with the Bears fans. When I go to Soldier Field decked out in Vikings wear, they're always nice. They give me a hard time in a friendly, fun way but they're never malicious. It's a classy, knowledgeable fan base and a place where fans of the opposing team don't have to feel nervous or uncomfortable about going out to support their team. From what I understand, there are places in the NFL where that's not the case.

Anyway, that was a tough loss but a fun game. :)

For those interested, there's an article at the Strib site about the Vikings defensive call on that final Bears TD. I actually wish it went into more detail but it's still worth reading:

That just makes me sad. Something went terribly wrong. Cook seems to be very, very miserable.

I saw Cook waving for help on that last play. Why someone didn't call timeout is beyond me. Sounds like everyone but Williams is questioning that playcall....interesting.

Just not what we expected, the call, in that situation,” middle linebacker Erin Henderson said. “Not really something that we prepared for or practiced for … in that situation. Even if he put us in a bad situation where he made a bad call, it’s still on us to go out there and make him right.”
Not trying to read (no pun intended) to much into that but if the play was a "bad" one, shouldn't the middle linebacker be making audibles there? (Or maybe it was a case that there was no audible to make, but as the play progressed it turned out to be a bad call). Dunno - Just thinking out loud...
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!

yup, i saw cook doing that as well, he did what he was supposed to do according to the play, he covered his zone and bennett was left open and he was a second too late. he shouldn't feel too bad.

Recently on KFAN, Mike Wobschall aka Wobby called Cook and Rhodes our "Revis and Cromartie". lol

choice words for two DBs who have never made an INT ever.
