Glazer reported today the leash will be short. Accountability is big with me. I'd like to see it with the Vikings QB position this season. I'm not calling for a benching yet. But soon if he cannot lead the team to wins and displays the maddening inconsistency that others on this Board have so eloquently described.

Ok he's no Adrian Peterson but JC is still one of the best RBs in this league. If there was a list of RBs ranked from 1 to 10 for this season I bet he would be in the top 5. He ran for 1500 yards last season, coming off an ACL injury. So they had a running game. I thought their O-Line was the most terrible in the league, yet Charles still found way to make plays.

I think just like how last week's rating didn't justify how bad Ponder did, this week's rating doesn't tell the story about how well Ponder did (in the 2nd half that is). Overall, the performance was average at best, but the fact that Ponder played good in the second half left a good taste in my mouth so I'm going to enjoy and pretend like this will continue onto next week and the rest of the season.

But, has it ever? the only thing is he consistent at is being inconsistent.
