Hey, the offense showed competence and variety on that drive.

I gave up on him. He could feel my Care Bear Stare leaving him.Captain wrote:All things aside...what happened to Ponder at half time? He actually looks like an NFL QB right now

You have to take that over a sack or an interception. Just dump it off, gain 10 and set the field goal up right down the middle of the field.Just Me wrote:Decent pass, but we'll have to settle for the FG.

Ponder looked like a different QB on that drive. Nice to see him starting to step up in the pocket.

Defense has looked good in the 2nd half.dead_poet wrote:OK, so it's pretty much a given Chicago scores a TD here.

Have you seen the pocket he's being given? It's the best I've seen this line protect all year.HornedMessiah wrote:Ponder looked like a different QB on that drive. Nice to see him starting to step up in the pocket.

Much better overall in the 2nd half.Captain wrote:All things aside...what happened to Ponder at half time? He actually looks like an NFL QB right now
But with Ponder it's always like this - you get some good snaps and some bad snaps. The good just never outweighs the bad. Even if he finishes with a perfect 2nd half it just balances out his awful first half.
