All this talk makes me want to get the coaches tape. Is there a way to get the coaches tape without getting Rewind or is it sold as a package?

Think you have to get both, and it's the most expensive game rewind package. I bought the cheap one that only gives you the vikings and it didn't even unlock all the coaches tape. I get like one drive of the first quarter as a "preview." LAME!

I don't believe he was being biased, because he also clearly placed the blame on Ponder for his miscues.

I loved Billick as our OC in the 90s, so for some reason it made me have more faith in Ponder for at least a little while longer.
I'll hazzard a guess and say Billick has shown he knows how to manage the QB position well....so his opinion might be based on what he thinks he could do with Ponder's talents vs limitations.

Just a guess. Billick did win it all with Dilfer. Would've loved seeing him back in the Vikings organization in some capacity on offense. I know there are negative opinions of him too...but I like and respect his knowledge of the game. He does a good job as an analyst IMO.

Not unexpected. You don't hear many conservative commentators calling out key players very often. And it may even be his honest opinion.

Billick is always just a little biased toward the Vikings. He seems to follow them fairly closely. I don't mind this at all, as most other announcers know almost nothing about the organization. Billick and Mayock are the best, but Mayock is always on top of his game.

Did you see what he did (didn't do...) his last coaching stop? If there was anyone I wouldn't trust with the QB position it'd be him...and his having any belief in Ponder would be a red flag. There's a reason he's an analyst and not a coach, and it's tied directly to his inability to identify or coach up QBs when he had the opportunity.

I actually don't remember anything about Billicks last season or why he was canned. I thought he did pretty good with the offense here and not too bad winning a superbowl with the Baltimore Dilfers. He got a great season outta McNair before he broke down. All the rest were late round picks or backup grade vets....even Dilfer was that. I thought he did well with what he had. I'm not in the know about who drafted their QBs....I assumed it was Newsome not Billick.

That is lame, but thanks for the heads up. Guess I'll stick with Sunday ticket.

Just curious S197, how much do you pay for the Sunday Ticket (if I recall, you subscribe to the PC service)? I'm using the ST from the madden25 special this year but thinking about what to do next year.
I did the same as you, bought the Madden special. The regular price for the mobile option is $250 I think.
