Hey , nice to meet everyone. Not sure if anyone saw the quote George Stewart made the other day. Saying Jennings basically went from a mansion to an apartment. Implying ponder is that bad. Ouchhhh.

I will try to find the quote again, but it sounded more harsh than even I made it seem. Thanks for the welcome.

It's all about location though, you see. I'd rather have an apartment on a lake than a mansion that overlooks a cheese factory. Just sayin'...
Re: New to the site
LoL, yea but an apartment is never truly owned. Only renting it.

Hopefully Jennings can pull off some IKEA magic and make that apartment functional. I live in a tent....so there's a lot to be said for just having a room and plumbing. lol

Stewart: “He understands that this is a team. He understands that everybody can’t marry Miss America. We have good players here. Really good football players. Greg understands that. He’s not trying to compare anybody to anybody. He’s trying to be the best receiver he can be for our quarterback, like he did for Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. It’s kind of like living in a house. One day, you may have a mansion and the next day you may have an apartment. Regardless of where you live, it’s home. He’s trying to make the best home he can make.”

Here's the quote, speaking about Greg Jennings. You be the judge:
It's not unlike what I was saying about Adrian Peterson. Like Jennings, he's a pro, but his situation is inescapable and it does come out in their interviews. If they can't be on a team that goes 14-2, or wins the Super Bowl, then they're just going to go out and be the best players that they can be.

Re: New to the site
I'm not worried about his initial thoughts on Ponder, really. Christian either steps up and produces, which means so does Jennings, or next year they bring in someone better. Simple as that. In the long run, Jennings will be alright.
