Just take some knees, you dopes. It's over.
Padding the stats, alright. If Ponder starts 4 more games for us like this, The Wilfs should go down to the coaches with some Jersey headbusters and go play
baseball in the desert with every last of 'em in.

Even with the defense playing a high zone coverage it took Ponder 1 minute and 30 seconds to get from the one yard line to the 30..... wow.

Ponder: 1 Fumble, 3 INT's... but he was efficient!

That's just icing on the Ponder cake.

There is that gosh darn accuracy thing again!
Re: Vikings @ Lions Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 1
We're playing possum. Every team now thinks we suck so bad we should not even be in he NFL, then we strike
Every day the same thing, variety

I agree but on here, it's still Ponder's fault!Lash Man wrote: Solid point the cover two is dead and we will get gashed by any team with a reasonably accurate QB what troubles me is we hardly played the starters in the pre season and it surely shows doesn't it .
The defense gave up 34 points. I guess Ponder should have scored 35...

I had a bad feeling about this game all summer and I bet Chicago will whip us too !
LETS GO VIKINGS !

Re: Vikings @ Lions Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 1
Ponder had his feet set and plenty of time, still couldn't place the ball well

I think the number of people willing to defend Ponder is going to a lot less after this. My guess is there will be none in another 3 games.

Re: Vikings @ Lions Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 1
Ponder totally sucks. He can't even complete a pass longer than 5 yards and made a bad handoff to Peterson to lose the game for us. At best he's a backup QB or maybe 3rd string. He can't throw on the run or handle the pass rush at all. It's already time to put Cassel in. I think Ponder is worse now than in his rookie year. If we didn't have Peterson we'd probably score 3 points a game. Oh Ponder just got picked off - nice job. It's time to stop blaming the receivers and put the blame where it really belongs.
