Notice the placement of Desmond Bishop in this depth chart!? All other Vikings are located in correct spots according to their assumed spot on the depth chart. Do you guys think this means Desmond is viewed as the starter at this point?

Not any real big surprises, but I would have liked Burton to make the team.

Any news on Felder's injury yet?

Uh, yeah. Didn't hear anything about it being that serious, though. Backboard and cart notwithstanding - they don't do that for concussions.

Weird for sure. All I read lately is that he's doing better. I honestly never thought it (whatever that was) would be season-ending. Oh well, I guess it's better safe than sorry.

It took a **** of a long offseason, training camp and preseason to come up with this WR corps:

- Greg Jennings
- Jerome Simpson
- Jarius Wright
- Cordarrelle Patterson
- Joe Webb

Gonna be a looooooooong season...

Beats last years WR corps by a mile. Wright is going in to his 2nd year, Jennings should be a huge addition, A healthy Simpson should contribute, Patterson can be something special, and Webb well I don't expect much from him. Add in Rudolph and a Ponder who hopefully gets it this year and I am ok with it. Lets not forget AP in the backfield either as that should help alot.

Just for fun Eli what do you think the Vikes should have done?

Also, I guess I was right the 1st time by keeping Zach Line around.
Both could be for the same reason.

Obviously, Zach Line is unlikely to stick around once Jerome Felton returns from his three game suspension.

Could it be that the Vikings plan on keeping DeMarcus Love when he finishes his four game suspension? It might even explain why Brandon Keith was let go today rather than a month from now - to give him a chance to catch on with another team. I'm guessing the Vikings were concerned about Keith's knee, which bothered him some during the preseason.

I assume a few of you are with me, that you would rather see Toby cut than Zach, when Felton comes back. I'm not sure Toby gives us anything special. And I soured really quickly on the guy after the "Ball Security" performance I saw in last year's San Francisco game.

Wouldn't bother me any. But Joe Banyard was the one that I wanted to see stick. The Vikings have a stupid number of RBs who have little more running talent than a typical unemployed NFL fullback. Asiata, Gerhart, Line and Felton are all good for little more than blocking and catching dumpoff passes.
