Coaches getting the axe: Rex Ryan, Gary Kubiak, Mike Smith
Might be on to something here with Rex Ryan. Just when I thought they couldn't get much more embarrassing or foolish...Geno Smith looked like crap, and then they put Sanchez in for part of the 4th quarter. He's injured already. Not sure how bad it is, but he was rolling around on the ground like he was dying. Questionable decisions here. It seemed as if they were keeping Smith in for more reps and to build confidence, quite possibly because they were leaning towards Sanchez. But then they put him in late, and he gets mauled. Just too weird. It might be Smith after all--even with his 3 picks and ridiculous Orlovsky-type safety.
I think Rex is quickly becoming a disease in NY. It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't last the season.......on the other hand, he could get an extension, it is the Jets after all~
Super Bowl Predictions
49ers over the Broncos - both teams look far more talented than everyone else
Most-Improved Team
Carolina - Newton will rebound and that defense is looking good.
Biggest Disappointment
Baltimore - lost way too many good players
Most-Improved Player
Blaine Gabbert - haha j/k it'll be Luke Kuechly
Biggest Disappointment/Drop Off From Last Season(player)
Percy Harvin
***Bonus Question***
How many coaches get fired after this season? Any guesses for which ones?
Jim Schwartz - Lions
Rex Ryan - Jets
Jason Garrett - Cowboys
Marvin Lewis - Bengals

Thanks for playing, secret Panthers lover. Carolina, Cam Newton, oooo look at that defense, Luke Kuechly

The Saints have a great offense and got the Coach back they didn't lose a ton of games
last year and most of the losses were close. Their defense should be better with the new
DC from Dallas.
The Patriots have little or no work in their division. Dolphins just lost Keller for the year.
The only team I see beating the Patriots in the Playoffs are the Ravens, maybe Bengals.
Denver will make it and lose.
The NIners, Rams, Cardinals, and Sea chickens will all beat on each other.
I don't think we will make it to playoffs, wild card at best.
Green Bay can't run the ball very well or stop other teams
NFC East is not dominate
Not sold on the falcons winning it all
LOL.
So you think the Packers ascending, young, 12th ranked D "can't stop other teams" but the Saints close to last ranked terrible D is going to be better because they have Rob Ryan?

I was born in North Carolina, but no that's not why haha. Newton and Kuechly. Plus it's the only team in that division I can stand, so I'm hopeful. Bucs were an old rival, Falcons '98, Saints '09 and bounty gate, Panthers haven't hurt me yet ... oh wait, they ended Culpeppers career. Damn you NFC South

After one game, looks like I was right about the Broncos and the Super Bowl--and the Ravens being the biggest disappointment. Yikes! What a game. Wowsers! It's gonna be a fun season!
