Are you serious?

Post by axeldaddy »

The Viking organization and fans are at odds.

The fans are irrationally indignant, surviving on orts left over from glory days; the owner blissfully ignorant, trying to make a buck.

You have AP; like the Bills had OJ, the Braves had Aaron and Murphy, the Cavs had LJ, the LA Galaxy had Beckham, et cetera, et cetera, only to put your butts in stadium seats and on the couch in front of television revenue.

Your owner wants to win money, not championships, and you are content to have a star player to hang your horns on until you miraculously return to power, where you belong.

NOT!

Sidney, Percy, Jasper and others are gone, which should be instructive.

Hate it for ya, but wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An ardent supporter of the hometown team should go to a game prepared to take offense, no matter what happens.

Come on man. Zygi wants to win. More than money. You don't invest what he does to win money. He could win money spending millions less.

The problem is the team is a mess and the GM is desperate to do what he can to improve it. But he can't. You have a big hole at a position you can't fit with money. (Well, they tried with Favre, and could have with Manning, but they were desperate for more than another Farve so didn't try).

We'll see from next year on out. Twins got their stadium and decided to give up and cash in. Will Zygi once the new stadium is built? We'll see. But he seems a lot more like a fan than a business man. I doubt he goes Polad. He'll spend money and depend on the front office to make it work.

Percy is injured and Sidney Rice is an injury waiting to happen and Jasper who oh yeah just another crappy Linebacker we had? Sounds like all we want is money, considering we just paid Greg Jennings to come in and got in turn 2 more draft picks for trading Percy, Idiot lol....
The term fan comes from FANatic or fanatical.

The OP obviously doesn't know much about the subject. The Wilfs have spent to win, any idea how Jarred Allen was aquired? As far as Sydney goes, there was no way he coulda been brought back, after what he did. Delaying surgery to underhandedly get a new contract, than when if failed have surgery in August. Percy didn't wanna be here, who wants to keep a malcontent? Jasper? No more than a stop gap, okay player, but certainly not a difference maker.

Oh we let Bobby Wade get away a few years ago, oh those cheap Wilfs!

I don't know.

Maybe if we'd stuck with Jasper Brinkley 2 or 3 more years, he would have developed the ability to cover, defend the run, and be the Urlacher-like Cover 2 MLB that he obviously is destined to be.

Stand by to get punked by the dynamic Brinkley next time we play the Cardinals. You don't let talent like this get away without paying for it.

Karma, Minnesota be your b!tch.

Too funny, i think this every time we let someone with ANY potential, leave the team. Maybe it's the former coach thing that has me thinking that. LOL

Jasper Brinkley was not a great player

Percy and Sydney just wanted money and neither have done anything yet for Seattle worth the money we got..

Randy Moss was a mistake, but that was another owner and front office to blame

It's starting already. He had two fumble recoveries vs the Cowboys. ;)
