If so, the game against the Panthers at home and then the game against the Giants in NY.

$0.00. Never paid to watch a Vikings game. If it doesn't come on TV then I just watch the highlights.

Here in the SLC I get the Sunday ticket, which by the sounds of it is about double the price it is in Sweden. Damn!
Other than that I might hit an Iggies sports bar for the night games and have dinner. I try to get to the dome every couple of years to see a game.

I had to double check just 'cause you said that... it's roughly $255 for the premium package(which I have). Not as cheap as I thoughtSLCVikefan wrote:Here in the SLC I get the Sunday ticket, which by the sounds of it is about double the price it is in Sweden. Damn!

Don't really know.
Not sure I want to know.
We get the Sunday Ticket, even though they show 75% of the Vikings games in our area. Kind of like suspenders and a belt, I guess. I'm not missing a game, period. I don't count food ... pretty sure we'd eat if we weren't Vikings fans.
We'll go to a game this year. Tickets, food, hotel, gas, Mall of America.
Yeah. Don't want to know.

Well, between games, merchandise, travel, etc.--it all depends on the year. But, honestly speaking, (this year included), 3 of the last 5 years I have spent $1,000-$1,500 each season just for games/travel (one year not much and the other about $500)...and I also spend a few hundred on top of that on merchandise for the year for me and my family...so, a lot? Too much? Maybe? Eh.
I have issues.

How much does sanity cost?????

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

I split my tickets now so not as much as it used to cost. Tossing out preseason, I rarely even attend those, the 4 weeks of the regular season it probably costs us about 300 between the tickets, eating beforhand, beers at the game. Games on TV are cheaper obviously, but some of those weeks theres usually a trip to a sports bar, or just a good meal and beers at home. If I had to guess I would say it costs us about 100 a week if it was averaged out.

Minimal cost. I do find that in October Paul Allen's voice on the radio is like a dinner bell to the hungry muskie who is otherwise considering the 18" sucker minnow hanging underneath my boat. Nothing better than Sunday afternoon with 2+ Musky and a Vikings Victory.

What teams games get broadcast in Sodak? I figured it would be Vikings.cstelter wrote:What does my Viking habit cost me???
Perhaps my soul, for it being ripped out year after year. \
Outside of that, not a lot. I live in Mankato, and used to get the Fox channel from the cities in HD, but then Mankato started broadcasting a SD fox channel. Two years ago they started enforcing DirecTV to only let me get the local fox channel so 2 years of SD Vikings. But this year I think they're finally in HD again.

Those of you ordering game rewind or audio should really check out my post in the "other" section of the forum. You'll pay the same amount and get to watch the games live.
