Ponder Is Secretly Special?

It stands for Purple Idiots Society Society. It's a joke that emerged out of the discussion in the "Greg jennings on First Take" thread:

At first I thought, "Know Moar Excuses!", would make a good motto for P.I.S.S., instead it might make a better battle or rallying cry. I just happened across this quote which I think would be a great motto:
'You can't reason a person out of a position he did not reason himself into in the first place' Jonathon Swift.
I think he was one of the dudes from 'The Swift Family Robinson'~

A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

I think that Swift quote would be a great motto for P.I.S.S.

Some Ponder apologists got butt hurt that their back patting session was interrupted.

Look no further than Viking Hoard's post in Mondry's 4 game analysis thread to understand what peeps are tired of. Some are tired of having to smell the poopy diapers of the irrational whiners aired out in just about every conversation on the forum. In at least one case it goes all the way back to Mike Tice's last season as coach. It's spiteful and sad, but that's just how some folks are wired.
