Re: Greg Jennings on "First Take"
The Vikings need to ban him from interviews until he learns to think before he talks. The Packers don't need any bulletin board material against us but he keeps giving them some.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018
Re: Greg Jennings on "First Take"
That's what I'm wondering, is he really that happy and comfortable? If so why does he keep bringing up his old team, and why does he feel the need to keep reinforcing how happy and comfortable he is?He's clearly happy and comfortable with his new team. IF he actually has a little bitterness toward his old team, why is that a problem?
It was just a week ago Frazier talked to him wasn't it? Specifically about focusing on the Vikings and what they're doing?
Why does this always happen to us anyway? Packers avoided the whole Moss mess, and then a few years later we go and sign him and voila, mess. Now this! Whatever that brainwashing is, we need some of it here!

I give up. Sometimes just reading this board makes me feel like an idiot.

I guess that says it all and as distasteful as it is Jim, you just take it for what it is worth.

Do not mistake KINDNESS for WEAKNESS!

Anyways, I actually agree with Demi and Eli on this one.

I love a little trash talking or whatever, but enough is enough. I've heard more from Jennings in the last few weeks than I heard from him the rest of his career. And to be honest, I don't remember any of our players constantly drawing so much attention to themselves or the team. Why is this happening? Is he getting more attention than the leader on our team--and the league MVP? For what? Because he came over from the Packers? So what? He's hardly the first. He needs to do his talking on the football field, especially against Green Bay! Less talk, more action!
And...all these "troll" comments. Jennings is starting to seem like a troll.

Re: Greg Jennings on "First Take"
Once the season actually starts GJ will have the chance to back his words up. Until then it's free country and all. I'm sure there are times when posters here could use a cup of shut the heck up....but none of it makes any real difference. I doubt anyone in either locker room (vikes pack) needs the benefit of extra motivation when it comes time to play each other. If GJ flails on the field then he will shut up.....but to me he sounds like a guy with something to prove and a big chip on his shoulder toward GB. I hope it carris over into every game he plays in Purpe. He's talking about it cause people are asking him about it. It all blows over once the season starts. Doesn't make any sense to tear into each other here over any of this. And the whole idea of some kind of homerish circle jerk is an insult to the intelligence of the posters here. The bigger point, as always, is to not be such a thin skinned whiner over something you have absolute zero control over. If this is you....whaaaaa!

Re: Greg Jennings on "First Take"
It's obvious that Jennings feels bitter towards the Packers and want some redemption. Who really cares though? As long as he contributes on Sunday and stays out of trouble Mon-Sat, then we're good. Jennings said it himself, "I'm loyal when I need to be." That basically goes to every NFL player. They're loyalty lies with the contract, not the team itself. As long as he's kicking butt on the field, he can hate GB all he wants.
It's not like he's saying anything hurtful. It seems in today's NFL it gets softer and softer. You can barely tackle players the way you want to with all these rules, now you cant even trash talk a little without people thinking you're a diva or a distraction.
In about 10 years, I bet players will have to hug the opposing team's player after every tackle to make sure he's okay. Jennings hasn't said anything outrageous like Riley Cooper. Let the man continue to do him. As long as he's still productive on the field, I have no problem with him.

The head coach of the football team he just joined that told him to knock it off? It's obvious that Jennings feels bitter towards the Packers and want some redemption. Who really cares though?

A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

Re: Greg Jennings on "First Take"
I've never cared for all this melodrama in football, but if it's something that puts a chip on Jennings' shoulder then I'm all for it. Whether it's self-imposed or not.

OMG REALLY???? I HAD NO IDEA!!!!!

I was figuratively speaking by saying "Who cares," as in I think it isn't a big deal.
