Aargh! I forgot it started at 6:00. Did CC already give his acceptance speech?

Cool. I have it tuned in now. Looking forward to Cc's induction into the Hall! It's long overdue.

I am watching/waiting for Cris to speak. I got my authentic #80 jersey out, ready for him to give his speech!

CC, saving the best for last to close out the Hall of Fame ceremonies

So overrated. All he does is catch touchdowns.

And he delivered another one today! :beerock:

Sorry I missed it. Cris Carter was as good a WR as I've ever seen. Well deserved and long overdue. Glad to hear his speech was exceptional too.

And of course Chris Berman with the " All he does is give hall of fame speeches"

Was a very good speech, one of the best I have seen and that's not the homer opinion.

Was right up there with Terry Bradshaws great speech.

Well done CC! I liked the narrative thread, "I've been a part of many great teams," including family, ESPN colleagues, childhood friends under the term "team". Lots of emotion, but not so much that it impeded him from talking. Nice speech and huge congrats to a legend!

CC spoke from the heart, as always. Awesome speech. Long overdue, but worth the wait.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

All of his close people went into the Hall with him.

I loved that he took that approach, sharing credit for everything he accomplished with his family and friends and even his high school coach.

I was a little surprised he didn't mention any of his Vikings coaches.

Well, he did talk about the Vikings and he singled out Wheelock Whitney in a big way so he didn't ignore the second chance the Vikes gave him. He just didn't mention the coaches (and if I recall correctly, he played for 2 in Minnesota: Burns and Green).
