It's basically speed. Maybe even similar to the effects of crystal meth, without all the nasty scab picking and paranoia. They prescribe it to kids who have ADHD (which seems to be more and more these days), which I think is a terrible idea with major consequences down the road when these kids grow up with an addiction to amphetamines.

Let's not forget rumors of steroid use/abuse at USC as well. Especially by a certain trio of linebackers. one who got busted in the NFL. And another, the "Claymaker", who's physical appearance pointed right at PEDs...until his production drops and his head shrinks. :lol:

Pete Carroll seems to not only look the other way, but even worse at this point might be part of the problem itself.

Isn't Adderal prescribed if you have ADD/ADHD?

Yes (hence the name). It almost seems counter-intuitive that you'd give amphetamines to someone who is hyperactive, but it provides them the ability to mentally focus. This is also the effect sought by professional athletes abusing the drug.
