I thought the timing was unusual too but it makes me wonder if he's expecting to make a big announcement about a signing they have lined up as well as addressing the Harvin, Winfield and Simpson moves.

Jennings is going to be on ESPNNFL at 3:20. Related?

I'm calling it. The Vikings pick up Jennings and don't do anything else until the draft.
