Nice, quiet day. RT @ProFootballTalk: Vikings had offered a seventh-round pick for Anquan Boldin, per source with knowledge of discussions. Anquan Boldin is due $6 million in base salary next season. Hard to believe they'd have paid that, but clearly, #Vikings need receivers.

Holy crap! I would've taken him for a 6th.

For a soon-to-be 33 year-old that can't separate with one year left on his contract for $6 million? *sigh* I suppose I would too, given our current stable.

I didn't look at his contract situation...but he led the Ravens in receiving the past three seasons and caught 22 for 380 and 4 tds in the playoffs last season.

He's a big time guy and an honorable one. A guy who would be great to have around a bunch of young players...like Jenkins but with much more ability.

Totally worth a 6th IMO.

I wanted Boldin, too--pretty badly.

But, he is going to have to step up--or maybe just continue his playoff awesomeness. I just got a text from ESPN that the Niners fear that Crabtree tore his Achilles tendon. Yikes.

I've always loved Boldin. I don't care if he runs a 5.9 forty.

Me too. Boldin has been one of my favorites since he came into the league. No other receiver is as physical as him and as good of a blocker as he is.

Boldin was a first round talent that fell to the 2nd round because of his speed concerns. We should have taken him that year. Boldin and Moss - opf!!!

I didn't get Boldin until last year with SF. Dude is a true physical beast and throwback type of WR
